“Bunka no Hi” (national holiday; November 3)
“Bunka-no-Hi” means “Culture Day” in Japanese.
This day is a national holiday annually celebrated in Japan on November 3, and the purpose of this holiday is to promote our culture by loving freedom and peace. It was established in 1948.
Culture Day was originally a day to celebrate the Emperor’s Birthday.
Various events are held in various parts of Japan.
